Used as a garnish on baked goods when cooled and in salads or ice cube trays.

Blueberry and White chocolate bread

Ingredients

  • 500 ml flour
  • 240 ml sugar
  • 15 ml baking powder
  • 3 ml salt
  • 1 egg
  • 240 ml milk
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 120 ml coarsely chopped white chocolate
  • 120 ml blueberries
  • Glaze
  • 60 ml water
  • 240 ml icing sugar, sifted
  • 60 ml forget me not flowers

Instructions

  • Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl
  • In a smaller bowl beat together egg, milk and vegetable oil
  • Add wet mixture to dry and blend until lumpy
  • Add white chocolate
  • Add blueberries
  • Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done
  • Unmold after 10 minutes let cool

Glaze

  • Mix water and sugar
  • Spread glaze on bread
  • Add flowers
